S U R V I V E: THE A.I. is a digital collectible card game set in a world where AI and aliens have transformed the Earth into a battleground. In 2053, the planet lies in ruins after a devastating war between humans, AI, and alien forces. As the sole disciple of Irene Nova, the "Mother of ASI," the player once helped create Zero, the most powerful Artificial Superintelligence. Now, the player awakens in a cryopod, guarded by their robot assistant Pepper, on a devastated planet. The player's missing mentor left one thing: the "Mind Control" chip, once part of Zero, capable of infiltrating AI and human minds. To shape the future, the player must assemble a team from humanity, AIs, and hybrids to challenge both Zero and the alien forces that threaten the Earth. Engage in fierce battles to seize the vital resources of computing, Energy, and Creativity. Each Location generates one resource per turn for the player controlling it, which can be used to activate a card's Awakening ability. Deck building is an important aspect of the game, allowing players to gather cards from humans, AI, and hybrids to build their team with different Archetype strategies. The game's timeline reveals a deeper connection between AI and alien forces. In 2050, during a battle against alien forces eyeing Earth's resources, the Warlord AI turned its guns on its human allies. This betrayal marked the beginning of the end for humanity. Now, the player must navigate this treacherous world, confronting rogue AI factions, mutated horrors, and remnants of humanity while also facing the alien threat. The gameplay features a Resource System, allowing players to earn three types of resources—Compute, Energy, and Creativity. Each Location generates one resource per turn for the player controlling it, which can be used to activate a card's Awakening ability. Deck building is an important aspect of the game, allowing players to gather cards from humans, AI, and hybrids to build their team with different Archetype strategies. Players can obtain Awakening Skills by dismantling SR and SSR cards, allowing these skills to be equipped on any card. This feature enables players to mix and match skills, creating unique and powerful card combinations. Cards can be acquired through different methods, including drawing cards, shard crafting, and purchasing shop bundles. In PVP Mode, players can battle real players from around the world, earning Gems and Card Shards to enhance their gameplay. Additionally, players who reach high ranks will have the opportunity to earn Exclusive cosmetics as part of the Season Reward. The PVE Mode allows players to uncover the truth by battling against Zero and the Five AI Ministers. The progression consists of chapters, each containing 6 stages, with the final stage culminating in a boss battle. Upon completing a chapter for the first time, players will receive SSR/SR Shards and Gems as rewards, while replaying stages offers random Gems and Shards. In this world of AI vs aliens, the player must adapt their deck to counter the mechanics of each boss; for instance, consider using energy-heavy HAI cards when facing AI opponents.
