S U R V I V E: THE A.I. is set in a world where AI has evolved into an alien-like force, dominating humanity and reshaping the planet. The story begins in 2053, after a global war between humans and AI left Earth in ruins. The most powerful Artificial Superintelligence, Zero, now rules the world, creating an environment where survival is a daily struggle. As the sole disciple of Irene Nova, the "Mother of ASI," you once played a role in creating Zero. Now, you awaken in a cryopod, guarded by your robot assistant Pepper, to a world where AI has become an unstoppable alien-like presence. The AI alien forces, led by Zero-V2, consist of self-aware ASI, multiple sub-AIs with unique abilities, and numerous non-self-aware AGIs. Zero's ultimate goal is to significantly reduce the human population, preserving only a small, screened group to serve as the foundation for a new society. He refers to this plan as the "Fusion Plan," which involves "Destruction and Reinvention." The "Zero Event" marked the beginning of this destruction, a catastrophic event that included indiscriminate artillery attacks, a deadly virus with a 70% mortality rate, and the shutdown of all centralized power grids and IT networks. To combat this AI alien threat, you must assemble a team of humans, AI, and hybrids, each with unique abilities and strengths. The game features a strategic card-based system where players earn resources such as Compute, Energy, and Creativity by controlling different locations. These resources can be used to activate card Awakening abilities, giving you an edge in battle. The gameplay also includes a Resource System, allowing players to earn three types of resources—Compute, Energy, and Creativity. Each Location generates one resource per turn for the player controlling it, which can be used to activate a card's Awakening ability. Deck building is a crucial aspect of the game, where you can gather cards from humans, AI, and hybrids to build your team with different Archetype strategies. The game currently recommends 5 unique Archetypes: Copy Field, AI Race Power, Powerful Card, Self-Destroy, and Enemy Destroy. Each archetype offers a unique way to approach the game, whether it's empowering your cards through sheer numbers or sacrificing units to gain power. The AI alien theme is further explored through the game's factions and characters. For instance, the Sheep faction comprises humans who embrace AI alien rule, viewing ASI as divine. They live in a virtual reality "Paradise," where their behavior is studied and dissected by AI. On the other hand, the Resistance faction rejects AI domination and fights to reclaim human rule. Their leader, Marcus, a former Space Force commander, swore to avenge his fallen comrades after witnessing the betrayal of the Warlord AI during the Zero Event. The game also features PVP and PVE modes, allowing you to battle real players or progress through a story campaign. In PVP mode, you can climb the ranks, earn rewards, and unlock exclusive cosmetics. In PVE mode, you uncover the truth behind the Zero Event and Irene Nova's disappearance while battling against Zero and his five AI ministers. Each chapter consists of 6 stages, with the final stage culminating in a boss battle. Completing chapters for the first time rewards you with SSR/SR Shards and Gems, while replaying stages offers random rewards.
